Peugeot Reinvents Salt: Introducing the Zirlion Mechanism for Powdered Salt

Peugeot Saveurs, a pioneer in culinary innovation, proudly unveils its latest breakthrough: the Zirlion salt mechanism, a revolutionary technology designed to transform the way home cooks, chefs, and everyone in-between seasons their dishes. After three years of research and development, this new mechanism makes it possible to grind salt into an ultra-fine, powder-like texture, offering precision and consistency like never before.

At the heart of this innovation is Zirlion, a Peugeot-exclusive grinding mechanism crafted from zirconia, an engineered ceramic material renowned for its strength and durability, often used in demanding fields such as aerospace and medicine. Unlike conventional ceramic grinders, which can chip or wear when handling dense or textured salts, the Zirlion mechanism is designed for tooth-on-tooth grinding with guaranteed durability, anti-corrosion, and reliable performance – even with coarse, seasoned and sea salts.
