This Paris Nature salt mill has been crafted from upcycled beechwood that was initially discarded in the manufacturing process owing to some minor visual imperfections.  While some of Peugeot's salt and pepper mills are designed to be consistently uniform in their appearance, this range embraces the authentic rawness of the natural world and accepts the beauty of its flaws.  The wood used in this salt mill has been given a new lease of life with sandblasting and a solvent-free black varnish for protection.  The Paris Nature range of salt and pepper mills may be a relatively new concept but its style is timeless and would fit comfortably in a farmhouse kitchen as much as in a modern industrial outfit.
