Just like Peugeot's other wooden pepper mills, the body of the Paris Nature pepper mill is crafted from wood sourced from PEFC™-certified forests and subsequently turned, painted and assembled in Peugeot's factory in France. So what makes the Paris Nature range of salt and pepper mills so different? The body of the 12cm Paris Nature pepper mill is made from bits of wood that are normally discarded during the manufacturing process and then blasted with ground nutshells. This natural and innovative texturing technique gives the mill a unique look and an unrivalled organic feel. An eco-friendly plant-based varnish comprising linseed oil and carnauba wax is then applied to protect the wood, maximise its service life and withstand intensive use.
